downgrading employee?
Hi
we want to downgrade an employee. the employee is in a leadership position and we want to make him/her part of the team and set another manager on the team.
we know we need to do a so called Änderungskündigung and remain with the notice period. Question is if we can decrease the salary to the new work level as well?
Can we adjust the salary down as her/his responsibilities wouldnt be that much anymore?

Ja, zumal es objektive Gründe gibt, das Salär zu senken...
Rückstufung und Gehaltsanpassungen sind natürlich möglich.
Persönlich würde ich aber eher einen Austritt anstreben. In meinen über 40 Jahren HR hatte ich vergleichbare Fälle und leider ist keiner gut ausgegangen...
